Frequently asked questions

Why do I need a PDF for a WebP picture?

Many print shops, forms and email tools do not accept WebP. A PDF is understood almost everywhere, and several WebP pictures can sit in one file.

Is the picture changed when it goes into the PDF?

The picture is opened by your browser and stored in the PDF as a high-quality JPG, because PDF cannot hold WebP directly. You will not see a difference at normal sizes.

What about animated WebP?

Only the first frame of an animated WebP is used. A PDF cannot play animation.

My WebP has a see-through background. What now?

See-through parts are filled with white in the PDF, which matches the white paper of an A4 or Letter page.

Does this work without an account or an app?

Yes. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and there is nothing to install.
