This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so your documents and photos stay private. It is free, has no watermark and needs no sign-up.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make the watermark see-through?

Yes. Lower the opacity so the page underneath stays readable.

Can I change the angle?

Yes. Set any angle. 45 degrees is a common diagonal stamp.

Does it work with languages other than English?

Yes for Hindi, Malayalam and Arabic, as well as English and Western European letters. Those alphabets are drawn by your browser with an open Noto font, which downloads only when you type them, and are added as a picture. They look right but cannot be selected as text. Other alphabets are planned.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The watermark is added on your device.

Can the watermark be removed later?

It is drawn on top of the page, so treat it as a visual marker and not as security.
