Why did my download turn out to be a WebP?
Many websites and apps send WebP to save data. When you save the picture, you get the WebP file, even though the page looked like an ordinary photo.
Which programs cannot open WebP?
Older photo editors, some printing services, certain email programs and many online forms. JPG is accepted nearly everywhere.
Does an animated WebP stay animated?
No. JPG has no animation, so you get the first frame as a still picture.
Will a WebP with a clear background come out black?
No. The clear parts are filled with white in the JPG, because a JPG has no transparency at all.
Can I convert many WebP files together?
